Assisted Living

What is Assisted Living?

Assisted Living combines housing and supportive health care services for those who cannot or prefer not to live alone and do not need the 24-hour skilled medical care of a nursing home. It is specifically designed to provide assistance to those who still want their independence but need help with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, and medication supervision.
Assisted Living facilities are often deemed necessary when the person in question is sometimes confused, or is experiencing memory problems. Assisted Living bridges the gap between the independence of retirement living and the total reliance upon long-term nursing care and promotes maximum privacy, security, respect, and, most of all independence.
